Please refer to Matt. chapter 26 (KJV).

There
were two people whose lives were changed as a result of their reactions
to Jesus. One for the better and one for the worse. Of course, there
were many others whose lives were changed by their reactions to Jesus.
Some are shown in this very chapter.

Let us find out about the one who was near to Jesus for about three years---Judas Iscariot.

Judas
Iscariot was an apostle of Jesus. He was the one who looked after the
money. Money in the form of silver pieces became his undoing. Look at
verses fourteen and fifteen. Judas made an agreement to betray Jesus to
the chief priests for thirty pieces of silver.

Judas'
reactions to Jesus before that time was one of friendship. On that very
day all the other apostles counted Judas as one of them. Judas was
their friend from their point of view. But from Judas' point of view
they were deceivers just like Jesus.

Judas
had three major strikes against him but he was not aware of them. He
was chosen for the office of apostle, but he was not chosen for eternal
life. Strike one. He was swayed by financial gains, even to the point
of selling out his friends. Strike two. He was a child of the devil.
Jesus referred to him as a devil. See the words of Jesus (John 6:70). No
wonder Satan was able to enter Judas after he ate the bread that Jesus
broke on that passover day. Strike three.

Satan
cannot enter a child of God because the new passover protects the child
of God. Jesus was the passover lamb, and the unleavened bread He gave
to His disciples did not represent the unleavened bread of the passover
that Moses established. The bread, Jesus said, was His body (verse 26).
Judas could not shelter in the passover. Jesus will not protect you from
Satan if you refuse to come under the protection of His passover. He is
the passover. If you are seeking protection under Moses' passover you
are in error. For all those who reject true friendship with Jesus, the
new passover cannot cover them. They are exposed to Satan. Jesus does not lift all other protections from the unlearned and
ignorant unbelievers. Because He is merciful and not willing that any
should perish, He does not allow Satan to always attack people as Satan
would like. This does not mean that those unbelievers will have eternal
life and live forever. Like Judas, they also will be known as enemies
of Jesus, unless they repent and become children of God.

There
were probably more strikes against Judas than these three. These are
the three that came to my mind. They are sufficient to give light
to unbelievers to understand that they are in the same boat as Judas.

Then,
there was Mary. Her reactions to Jesus was one of intense love. She
displayed the right use of money (money in the form of precious
ointment). She preferred Jesus above financial gains and her own
enjoyment of the ointment. Look at verses six to thirteen.

After
Mary poured the ointment on the Lord Jesus, He established a memorial
for her. He linked her to the preaching of the Gospel. Note that Jesus
said, "...this gospel...". What would His disciples consider as "this
gospel"? Look at verse two. Do you understand from that verse that the
gospel Jesus Himself spoke about included His crucifixion? That meant
death. He made it clear that betrayal would come before He would be
crucified.

Jesus
gave the next important truth about "this gospel" in verse twelve.
Jesus would be buried. Those who believe that Jesus did not die on
the cross are in error. Those who believe that God spared Jesus from
death and took Him bodily to Heaven are not in agreement with Jesus.
In verse twenty-four Jesus made it clear that He was going away from
this world according to what was written in the scriptures. This means
that the scriptures were to be fulfilled. It means that anyone
(including false messiahs and false prophets) who teach contrary to the
scriptures are in error. The prophets and messiahs that do not teach
that Jesus died on the cross and was buried are false teachers. Do not
fear them.

Jesus
made it clear in verse thirty-two that death and burial was not the end
of Him. He spoke of His resurrection. Jesus Himself is the resurrection
and the life. So "this gospel" was made clear by Jesus Himself.

Jesus
did not give His disciples "this gospel" halfway. No one can
come to Jesus and receive eternal life with a halfway gospel.

As
for Mary, she gave that which was precious to Jesus for the full
gospel. Many people don't like to give to Jesus for the full gospel.
Some of them are angry when others are following Mary's example. Some
are glad when Jesus bless them and heal them but they are not glad to
give for His gospel.

As
for those who are teaching that Mary was Jesus' wife, they are the
mouthpieces of Satan. If Mary were such, she would have received a lot
more fame than that one memorial. According to their teaching Jesus is
like a sinner. How then could Jesus fulfill the gospel according to the
scriptures? Is it written anywhere in the scriptures that Jesus would
have a bride or wife, except in a figurative and spiritual sense? "This
gospel" is not according to the imaginations of wicked people (children
of Satan). It is according to the written word of God. That word will
judge the wicked.

Be blessed all you who fear the Lord Jesus. Be warned all you who like to see the end of Jesus. He has no end.

Weep, wail, and mourn O Land of Guyana!

Cry until the tears are dried up.

Howl and scream with pains. Pound upon your chest and groan

while you can still hear and feel the terror that is in your

midst.

O daughter of Guyana, who will bring comfort to you? Who will

defend you from the fierce anger of the wild Jackals? From the

subtlety of the dark and heinous serpents, who shall give you

wisdom enough to withstand?

Where are your heroes and heroines? Where are your brave

young men? Are they swallowed up with grief or are they asleep?

Have they remained silent because they are afraid or because

they are led by the weak? Are they trusting in politics more

than in the God of Heaven? Are they looking to gods who are

serpents and beasts? Are they looking to the same subtle gods

(Old Devils) who stir the spirits of the serpents to break

into your houses?

The Old Devils are back. Nay, they just came out of hiding.

They were always there. They have their places in your midst.

You have helped them by giving them drink offerings and food

offerings. You have entertained them and sang unto them. For

generations they have deceived you and you love to have it so.

You have sown and now you are reaping.

Understand and be ashamed. Your own gods in whom you trusted

are behind the evils that are visiting you. Tell me, how else

could such things happen unless the land has turned away from

the God of Heaven? Were you never warned by the preachers He

sent to you? Did they not tell you that God is not mocked? Did

they not say, that if you sow evil by raising your voices to

other gods and entertain them, then you will reap what you sow?

Will the God of Heaven come to your aid when you do not welcome

Him into your life? Will you reap the rewards He has promised

to those who love Him? Can you go on hating Him by serving

other gods and still expect Him to come and comfort you in your

distresses?

No, you are wrong! He will not bless you, but curses will plague

your houses and your children because you will reap what you sow.

You cannot serve those Old Devils and be a friend of God. You

must turn. You must repent. You must become humble. You must

believe in His Son, Jesus. You must receive His teachings and

refuse the teachings of devils. Your pandits are deceived. Your

Imams are deceived. Your soul is not precious to them. They feed

you lies and keep you in the grip of the Old Devils. How long

will you sleep? How long will you let them deceive you?

Wail and lament, be scared and live in terror. Let the curses

continue if you will not listen to the Most High and bow before

Him. You have no one to blame for your distresses. The Gospel

was preached to you for generations, but you have slept. You

have rebelled. You have lived in pleasure with devils. You

made bed with those Old Devils for too long. You fill yourself

with booze when it is Jesus' birthday. You bare your nakedness

in your " jump ups" and your beauty shows. Woe unto you! You

are sowing wrong!

God has been calling you to His table to eat. Eat His words and

refuse the lies. If you continue to stiffen your neck and harden

your heart don't expect your calamities to go away. Expect the

rains that will not move until His wrath is appeased. Expect the

sun to scorch and dry up your fields. Expect your poverty to

crush you and bow your inhabitants' backs until they go to their

graves. You should know, if no one ever told you before, that

the earth is the Lord's. It is given to the inhabitants at

Jesus' good pleasure and not at the pleasure of the gods you

honour. Those who love the Lord Jesus should know this truth.

Those Old Devils are oppressors. Their nature is contrary to the

nature of God. They will promise you life but are unable to

deliver life to you. They will suck from you but they cannot

comfort you in your distresses. They are evil tormentors.

Torments are their games. Lust and envy are their ways. They are

corrupt in every possible way. You don't see them unless God

opens your eyes to see them. Sometimes you are not aware of their

heinous desires until they break forth into the lives of your

people.

Jesus is still calling you to repentance, O land of Guyana. Seek

Him while He may be found and watch Him bless you and bring

comfort to you. Don't call upon the arm of flesh. The arm of

flesh will fail. Trust in the Lord Jesus. He will not fail you or

forsake you. Love Him and then you will not have to call upon

every new god that comes up. Trust in Him and don't lean upon

the new god called "International community". "International

Community" is for those who want to be eventually oppressed by

the "International Community".

Now, change your voice O Land! Cry and mourn for the only

begotten Son of God. Mourn for Him because He was innocent

but suffered for your sins. Mourn for Him as you mourn for

your children. He may still turn to you and heal you.

O Lord, grant unto all those who read these words and do not like

them, to understand the severity of them. Grant unto them peace in

their minds that they may not be blinded by self-righteous anger.

Let them see that you still care to warn them to escape your wrath

that is coming upon the earth.

Woman---MOTHER of Jesus

Hi! I hope you have come prepared to receive the teachings with a believing heart. You would be wise to check out some of the things I wrote to see whether I am in line with the scriptures. It is a good idea not to think too highly of people. People are not perfect. Mistakes are made by experienced and well taught teachers of the scriptures. Check out the messages carefully and prayerfully. Let your main teacher be the Holy Spirit. If the teachings are of God, you will be able to get a witness from the Holy Spirit if you are a child of God. You may even get filled with the Spirit as you read the messages. You may get a witness of increased faith and joy or increased peace.

Let us find John 2:1-11 (KJV).

The first verse gives us a name of a place in Galilee. That place was Cana. The occasion was a marriage. One person in particular was at the wedding---the MOTHER of Jesus.

The second verse shows us that Jesus and his disciples were invited to the marriage in Cana.

In the third verse we learn that there was a problem at the wedding. They ran out of wine. Jesus was at a wedding where they served wine? Surely, that wine couldn't have alcohol in it, some of you may be saying. It was probably just fruit juice---grape juice you know. Well, we don't know. At this point there is no mention of the type of wine they were using.

One thing was for sure. They wanted more wine. It seemed that having more wine was very important. It was so important that the MOTHER of Jesus went into action to save the marriage feast from disaster due to lack of wine.

She took the matter to Jesus. She said to Him, "They have NO wine."

Let us consider what happened next in verse four.

Jesus responded to His MOTHER by addressing her as WOMAN and not as MOTHER. Why? Did Jesus mess up then and displayed disrespect to His MOTHER?

He told her that His hour was not yet come. In other words, I may not (not I cannot) supply you with more wine at this time. I have to wait for the time to be right. Jesus was not giving an answer that was written in stone. His MOTHER knew that.

In verse five, she turned her attention to the servants and gave them the instruction, "Whatsoever He saith unto you, do it." She did not accept the answer that Jesus gave her as a final NO. She acted in faith and expected that her faith would be rewarded.

But who would reward her faith? And in whom should she put her trust? She could not get more wine by miraculous means if she had placed her trust in Jesus as the son of Mary. No Sir. She understood that she must place her trust in Jesus, the Son of God.

Jesus, the son of Mary, also knew that He could not grant her request just because He was her son. Both Mary and Jesus understood that Mary must come to Him as Lord Jesus in order to get the desired result. It was for that reason that Jesus never addressed Mary, His MOTHER, as MOTHER, but as WOMAN. She, like all other women, must make request with FAITH IN JESUS AS LORD GOD. God spoke through Jesus, His Son. As God, Jesus had every right to address His creation as MAN or WOMAN. No wonder the officers in the temple at Jerusalem, when they went to arrest Him, could not do so. Their reason was that He spoke with authority.

Jesus was not disrespectful to His MOTHER when He called her WOMAN. If Jesus was disrespectful to His MOTHER, He would have been guilty of sin. That would have made it impossible for Jesus to proceed to the next step in providing a suitable solution to the problem of lack of wine.

Proceeding to verse six, we see that there were six stone containers with water in them. The amount of water in each container was about eighteen to twenty-seven gallons. Do the math. We should realize that there were more than enough wine to supply the wedding feast. Jesus would have made sure of that. He would not allow His glory to be diminished by another shortage of wine at the wedding feast. He had to do a good work.

In verse seven, Jesus went into action. Yes, the objection that He made to His MOTHER---about His hour not right for the miraculous supply of wine---was overcome by Mary's faith in the LORD Jesus. Jesus moved into creative power by the anointing resting on Him. He was working a miracle which His Father in Him was working. So when Jesus moved He was moving as His Father in Him was moving. Jesus was not moving to do such a powerful work as the son of Mary but as the Son of God. So the Father in Jesus spoke, "Fill the water pots with water."

Read the rest of the verses and see what happened. What I would like you to retain is the teaching that Jesus was not disrespectful to His MOTHER, Mary, when He called her WOMAN. He did the same thing at the cross (John 19:26). You should understand, like Mary understood, that you must bow to Jesus as your LORD. To round off these teachings and to block any resistance, you should consider other scriptures where Jesus, as LORD, speaking by the Father, called some disciples children. Jesus could have spoken to Mary and called her child and He would not have offended her. He could have called her daughter also. Check the scriptures for yourself.

Christmas Greeting From Abdool N

His name shall be called Jesus. His name
means Saviour. He shall save His people
from their sins.

His other name shall be Emmanuel
Matt. 1:23. It means God is with us.

God is with us to save us from our sins.
That is what you can see if you combine the
two names.

This Christmas take the names of Jesus
as seriously as you would take the names of
your father, mother, chief rulers of your
country, and your own name.

Your name is precious to you. Let the name
Jesus become more precious to you. Your name
may even be great in some way, but the name of
Jesus is greater than your name. Let the greater
name, Jesus, become light and life to your soul.

Have yourself a pure Christmas. Have a
Christmas without sins in your life. Have a
fantastic Christmas with a friend who sticks
closer than a brother. Have a Christmas with
Jesus. After all it is His birthday not yours.

To all my friends, neighbours, countrymen,
aquaintances and visitors to my blogs and

Salvation is of the Jews, but...

Look at John chapter four (KJV).

Verse twenty-two: Salvation is of the Jews.
The word of God did not stop there because God's
Salvation is for anyone, anywhere. The next verse
says But... Read it.

In verse twenty-two Jesus told a Samaritan woman that
she does not know what she was worshipping. She was
certain that she and her people were doing well by
going to a particular mountain to worship. See verse
twenty.

The same thing is happening to many other nations and
tribes. They have set apart a particular temple, river, city
or other things where they must go to worship. They do
not understand that God must be worshipped in spirit
and in truth (verse 23).

Even Jerusalem is not the place where God meets with
His true worshippers, just because it is called the holy
city (verse 21). Christians are also making this same
mistake. They are willing to fight and die for Jerusalem
because they think they ought to worship God there.
People who don't know God's truth are prone to
deceptions. How can they please God, who is a Spirit,
by restricting Him to a particular mountain or city?

Are you making pilgrimage to Rome, Jerusalem or some
other place to worship God? Do you think that you will get
more blessings than those who stay at home and worship
God in spirit and in truth? Think again.

God is looking at the hearts of people more than at their
outward parts and their buildings, clothes, rivers, etc. Those
who are pleasing God are presenting to Him a pure heart.
Their hearts are washed in the blood of the Lamb of God.
No one can enter into God's holy presence through a city,
a river, a mountain, or anything else, except through the
precious shed blood of Jesus Christ. It is His blood only
that can purify the hearts of people. It is only through the
cross of Jesus can sins be forgiven and sinners be made
clean to enter into the presence of a holy God.

Those who are born of the Spirit of God through faith in
Jesus Christ are living in God's Spirit and God's Spirit
is living in them. They are in God wheresoever they may
be on the Earth. They can communicate with God and
worship Him anywhere. Of course they still need places
to assemble to worship God together. Those places
should not become like the mountain in Samaria that
the Samaritans were believing to be the way to enter into
worship with God.

When you learn this truth from God's word you can make
corrections if you were not aware of this truth. You will be
able to see the folly of going to any pilgrimage to worship
the God of Heaven, who is a Spirit, and must be worshipped
in spirit and in truth. Start with this truth to refuse to worship
you know not what. Refuse to be fooled. Treat the truth of
the living God with reverence and turn to Him to guide you
into a walk with Him by faith in Jesus Christ through the
Spirit of God.

Hell is Real

Hell---a place for the wicked, both people and angels.

Hell is God's way of executing vengeance upon those
who rebelled against Him and did not receive the
common salvation delivered to the saints.

Preachers who want to do away with Hell by teaching
that God will not condemn unbelievers to the damnation
of Hell fire are basing their teachings on their own ideas
and doctrines of devils. God, even the Lord God (Jesus
Christ) is a God of justice. Justice consists of vengeance.
God cannot become unjust and do away with vengeance.
Therefore God cannot do away with Hell. Men's wishful
thinking and dreaming cannot change the plans or ways
of the Most Holy God. Payday is coming soon---sooner
than some think.

Sodom and its neighbours did not think that vengeance
was near. Even Lot lingered because he did not think
vengeance was at the door. Lot's wife still could not
grasp the severity of the God of vengeance even though
she was fleeing. She should be an example of those who
think that God is mocked. She rebelled and mocked at
God's severe instructions and so perished under the
vengeance of God.

Hell has everlasting fire. Don't mock God with unbelief.
Don't mock God with doctrines of devils and man made
teachings that say there is no Hell.

Don't think that you can escape the damnation of Hell
by religions that clearly despise and mock the
common faith of the saints that is found only in
Jesus Christ.

Don't follow the way of Cain who was of the wicked one
(that is the Devil). Cain tried to make his own religion by
offering that which offended God. Cain chose envy and
murder to out do his brother. Cain showed no mercy to
his own flesh.

There are religions that have gone the way of Cain. They
have set up their own systems of offerings to God and
have not submitted to the way that God has set out.
Those who offer sacrifices and burnt offerings to God
contrary to the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ are
going in the way of Cain. Cain's way is the sure way to
Hell and eternal damnation.

Turn! Turn! Why should you think that vengeance will
not come to your door if you continue to mock God?

Also, Hell is for fools.

Stumblingblock Food

There are certain teachings that can result in people stumbling in their faith. That faith is faith in the living God.

Balaam tried to cause Israel to stumble by teaching Balac to cause them to commit fornication and to eat things sacrificed to idols (Rev 2:14).

Should Christians eat the sacrificed cattle (Kurbani) that their Muslim friends offer them? The sacrifice is to commemorate the offering Ibrahim made of his son Ishmael (according to Muslim traditions).

On the surface it looks harmless, and Christians may think that it is not a serious matter. The truth is that the things that the Gentiles (who don't serve the Lord Jesus) offer in sacrifice are not really offered to God but to devils (1 Cor 10:20) .

The word of God is saying that eating such food is equivalent to making friends with devils. God clearly does not permit that for His children. True friendship with God demands refusing the sacrificed meats of Muslims and other Gentiles. To do otherwise is to invite chastening from the Lord.

Muslims are now warned not to give their sacrificed meats to true believers in Jesus Christ to cause them to stumble. Don't add more sins to your accounts by putting a stumbling block in the path of the children of God. Their God is a jealous God. He does not delight in offerings of bulls and goats, etc. now. They are abominations to Him. Read what eventually happened to Balaam.

I know many Guyanese Christians are exposed to these trials of their faith. I hope that they are not treating the matter lightly. This may be a reason why many Christians are loosing blessings or are failing to enter into some blessings. Check up on your friendship Guyanese Christians. Devils are not good friends.

You Guyanese Christians owe it to your Muslim neighbours to draw the line clearly so that they also may receive the truth and escape friendship with devils.

Christians everywhere need to be on guard to please God rather than their Muslim neighbours in this matter. Do not be overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. Do the good and God will be with you and bless you. Lost blessings may be restored to you. You may also enter into new blessings, even the winning of the souls of your Muslim neighbours.

Guyanese Christians should not fear to let their Guyanese Muslim neighbours and friends know about this demand of God. They should do so before their Guyanese Muslim friends and Guyanese Muslim neighbours prepare to do sacrifice. They will spare the Guyanese Muslims from approaching them with their sinful offerings.

May the Lord grant Guyanese Christians, and Christians everywhere, courage to refuse foods offered to idols or devils.

Let the Holy Spirit and the word of God be your guide and keep you from all evil.

Jews Will Receive The New Covenant

Seasons must come and go. They were established by the Lord Jesus. All things were created by Him.

People must adapt to the changing seasons or suffer, and even die.

There are many reasons why people are averse to changes. They resist changes that are beneficial to them, without good reason. Many times it is because they think that the changes are not for better.

The case of the Israelites wandering in the wilderness for forty years gives light to some of the consequences of resisting changes. Such resistances are rebellions. They are rebellions against God.

When God commands us to change we should give ourselves to His commands whole-heartedly or suffer the consequences. Jesus was not joking when He said, "repent ye, and believe the gospel" (Mark 1:15). The command is not just to a few people but to everyone. The next command, to be baptized, (Matt. 28:19) is not a joke. God means business.

I hope God's appointed ministers of the gospel and the entire Church are not found to be joking when they preach to others "this Gospel". Those who resist the appointed ministers of God and others in God's Church, who are sent to them with "this gospel", are in rebellion. They shall not escape the judgement of God in the appointed time. The dust of the feet of those who are sent to warn them shall be a witness against them.

One reason why most Jews are resisting "this Gospel" is because a veil is covering their hearts. That veil goes along with the Old Covenant. That covenant, even though it had some measures of glory (2 Corinthians 3), pales in comparison to the New Covenant in Jesus. The Old has been abolished. People are still resisting to change and receive the New Covenant even thoug the veil is not on their hearts as it is on the majority of Jews. Their blindness stems from many other sources.

The time is getting closer to the turning of the majority of Jews to the greater glory of the New Covenant in Christ Jesus. As surely as the seasons bring changes so God has appointed a season for the turning of many Jews to the New Covenant in His Son, Jesus. The veil shall be removed from their hearts and they shall be able to see beyond Moses and the Old Covenant. Yes, the time is close. They shall also cry when He shall be revealed in great glory with His Church and angels. God HAS NOT ABOLISHED ISRAEL, ONLY THAT OLD COVENANT WHICH WORKED DEATH AND BONDAGE. Those who will attempt to ABOLISH ISRAEL will become nothing. Yes, the time is coming when their flesh shall melt like wax while they surround Jerusalem to destroy the Jews in it.

Hear, O Lord. Hear the threats of the rebellious against your inheritance. See the plight of Jacob and make haste to deliver him. The hungry lions are lurking, ready to strike. Who will see us they think. Who will prevent us they boast. Fill them, O Lord. Give them to eat their just rewards. Spare them not; they have exalted themselves above you. Bring them low. Make them as the dunghill.

Zion is the name you call your choice land: your city Jerusalem. Zion, though now bound, and with many more children than Zion above, shall be set free. You have decreed it Lord. Who shall prevent you? Who shall delay you?

Be warned now you rebellious and turn to the Lord Jesus before it is too late.

God visited Sarah according to a promise He made earlier (see Genesis chapter seventeen, from verse fifteen to verse twenty-one, KJV).

Verse two now.

Sarah became pregnant. She gave birth to a boy baby. The timing of the birth was according to promise.

Verse three next.

Abraham named his son Isaac. That name was given to him by God (see chapter seventeen, verses eighteen and nineteen).

Now to verse four.

Abraham fulfilled God's commandment of circumcision of his son Isaac. He kept the commandment when Isaac was eight days old.

In verse five.

In this verse Abraham's age of one hundred years is given. That was his age when his son Isaac was born.

Verse six. Sarah's Laugh.

This verse contains an important declaration by Sarah. She declared that God made her laugh. This laughter was for joy, because the old, once barren Sarah, can no longer be reproached because of barrenness.

She went on to say that all those who hear will laugh with her. Did she mean that only those who heard her laughing will laugh with her? Could it be that those who hear about Sarah's laughter now, will also laugh with her? Yes, because Sarah did not say only those who were in her presence would laugh with her. She said all those who hear. Hear what? Sarah's laughter, or that God had made Sarah to laugh?

It is important to note that Sarah said "ALL THAT HEAR" will laugh with her. To understand this kind of hearing consider verse nine. Soon after Sarah's declaration (about three months), Ishmael was caught mocking Sarah's son. The son that God ordained to give many laughter. Certainly Ishmael was not one of the group of "ALL THAT HEAR", because he failed to hear. If he was one of those who heard, he would have behaved differently.

Look what happened next. Check it out in verse ten to verse twelve. Sarah was not laughing. When Sarah stopped laughing because Ishmael failed to laugh with her, it affected Abraham. Next it affected Hagar. Ishmael should have laughed with Sarah. Ishmael had to go. Sarah was sure about that. How could she be so sure? God had made her laugh. God's will was to make others laugh with Sarah and not at her. Therefore God will not be pleased with those who do not laugh with Sarah. Sarah was confident about that.

So who are those that will laugh with Sarah? They are the ones who understand that it was not a light thing that God did for Sarah. They understand that even Abraham had to submit to God and to Sarah, to cast out Hagar and her son Ishmael, in order to restore Sarah's laughter. They understand clearly, and are confident as Sarah, that God's choice for Abraham's heir was Isaac and not Ishmael.

When you laugh with Sarah you are laughing with Abraham's God. When you mock Sarah by mocking her son Isaac, you are mocking Abraham's God.

If you exalt Ishmael above Isaac you are not laughing with Sarah. You are in serious trouble. You need to repent. You need to call upon Sarah's God to give you an understanding of Sarah's laughter.

You can find Sarah's God through His Son, Jesus Christ. Now, can you imagine if you mock Sarah it is a serious offence? Do you realize that God's Son, Jesus, is far greater than Sarah? Are you mocking God's Son?

Moses---Guilty or not Guilty?

How do you view Moses' act of killing an Egyptian?
Did Moses kill an innocent man? What did the
Church in Egypt think? What does the Church
think now?

Do you see Moses as a murderer or as a deliverer?

How did Moses see himself? how did God see Moses?
And how did the early Church see Moses?

What does the word of God say?

The account of the killing is found in the book of
Exodus in the Holy Bible. See KJV chapter 2, verses
11 to 15.

In verse eleven Moses saw the burdens of his
brothers. He also saw the oppressor (an Egyptian)
beating an Hebrew.

Moses took a stand for the defence of his Hebrew
flesh and killed the Egyptian. He buried the dead
man with sand to hide him.

When Moses went out the next day he saw two
Hebrews fighting. Moses questioned the man that
was wrong. The man did not like Moses' stand as
a judge. The man questioned Moses whether Moses
would kill him as he killed the Egyptian. Later,
Pharaoh judged Moses as guilty and sought to kill
him. Moses became fearful and so he fled to
Midian.

Here we have a view of someone in the Church
(wrong doing Hebrew) seeing Moses as guilty
of murder. There were probably others in the
Church with the same view.

We find that Pharaoh would not have given
Moses a trial. The world (Pharaoh) saw Moses
as guilty. Someone might say, " Pharaoh was not
wrong because Moses didn't give the Egyptian
a chance or trial. He judged him and killed him
right away." Well, I don't think that Moses was
unfair to the Egyptian. The Egyptians were
guilty of perpetrating murders against Israel.
Remember how Moses himself had to be
hidden from the sword when he was a baby?
The Egyptians in those days were guilty of
much innocent blood.

Another person may say, " why didn't Moses do
the right thing like we are doing today? Why
didn't he resort to the courts in Egypt for
justice?"

Are you kidding me? What justice? The Hebrews
had no justice for them in the Egyptian courts.
It was high time that someone see the heart
of God and seek for immediate justice for the
crushed and oppressed. Moses saw God's heart.
You will not see God's heart unless you follow
the examples of men like Moses. You will be
stuck with the bad Pharaohs of the world. Now
don't get me wrong. I am not advocating killing
when there are courts and justice is available.

There are those in the Church today who view
Moses as a murderer. Many of them were taught
this view by the Church. Is the Church right or
is it taking a stand with the world?

If you look at Acts chapter seven, from verse
twenty-two to verse twenty-nine you will see
God's account as the Holy Spirit spoke through
Stephen. This should be seen as the view of the
early Church. It should be the view of the Church
now.

In verse twenty-four Moses is shown as a
defender and not as a murderer. He was also
executing vengeance. It was eye for an eye.
Remember that Moses knew the laws of the
Egyptians. He was not without understanding
about justice, and vengeance as part of justice.

In verse twenty-five we get a look at how Moses
saw himself. He saw himself as the chosen
deliverer of the children of Israel. Some in
the Church did not understand that, so Moses
got a bad rap. He was acting as God's
deliverer even then, but he could not make
them see that. So it was then. So it still is now
when Moses is shown by the Church that he
was a murderer.

Wake up Church. Know your enemies. Know
your friends.

The Holy Bible Cannot Be Judged by Carnal Minds.

The Holy Bible contains spiritual truths that carnal minds cannot discern because they are spiritually discerned. The carnally minded may be able to comprehend some things written in the Holy Bible, such as historical facts, the names of animals, trees, people, etc. The main reason why the carnal minds cannot understand certain truths contained in the Holy Bible is because darkness has strongholds on such minds. The carnally minded is bound in the kingdom of darkness. The darkness prevents the light from entering into such minds. The minds of the children of darkness have to operate in spiritual darkness because that is what they are capable of. While the carnally minded can comprehend many truths such as being kind and merciful and live accordingly, they stumble when it comes to see themselves as sinners in need of the only saviour, Jesus Christ.

As long as a person remains bound by Satan and darkness the Holy Bible will remain foreign to him or her. In Romans 8: 7 you can see the truth that the carnal mind is enemity against God. Such minds cannot obey God. It is difficult, but the carnal minds can be brought into submission to God anytime He chooses to bring them into submission.

Christians have to rely on the Holy Spirit to keep them on a straight course when it is difficult. When Christians are unequally yoked with unbelievers they are resisting the help of the Holy Spirit. They can end up being carnally minded in that particular area where their unbelieving friends have a greater influence on them. Christians can do fleshly acts without any unbeliever influencing them.

This truth does not mean that Christians should not have unbelieving friends. Christians should do their best to keep such friendships with love and peace and with the understanding that God COMES FIRST. Christians owe it to their unbelieving friends to live a Godly life before them. Children of light are to give witness of the light that their friends may overcome the darkness through Jesus.

Whose Doctrine Have You Received?

Spiritual teachings that we believe and act on either give glory to the God of the prophet Jesus or result in sins against Him.

Those who are not chosen of God to receive everlasting life cannot be drawn to Jesus (KJV 6:44, 65). The Father does the drawing of the believers. The Father, for the purpose of granting eternal life, will never draw anyone to another prophet except Jesus.

People who do not understand God's teachings that lead to faith in the Lord Jesus are not taught by Him. And they shall all (believers) be taught by the Father (KJV John 6:45).

Jesus will resurrect the believers at the last day (KJV John 6:39-40). That resurrection cannot include those who rejected the Father's doctrine that God raised the Lord Jesus from the dead. The believer's faith in the Messiah, Jesus, who died on the cross in Jerusalem, cannot be counted as vain. If sinners can be saved by other means then it is vain for believers in Christ to continue in the Father's doctrine. Believers and unbelievers alike should take note of the truth that the Father Himself makes sure that the believers continue to believe in Jesus. The believers are not left alone to arrive at the resurrection by chance.

Jesus, by promising to raise the believers at the last day, is requiring them to believe His promise, is asking them to believe that He is divine, and is showing them that He stands apart from all other prophets of God. Indeed He was that special prophet Moses said would visit Israel. He would be the one to speak the Father's doctrine. Those who do not obey Him would be refusing the Father who sent Him. They would be cut off from Israel.

The teachings of many are contrary to the Father's doctrine which He gave to His Son Jesus.

Jesus, speaking as a prophet and a man, could not claim the doctrine of the Father as His own (KJV John 7:16). The doctrine came with authority given to the prophet Jesus to teach them as the Father's doctrine and not as His own. The glory of the teachings belong to the Father.

Teachings that are contrary cannot give glory to the Father. Indeed, while they may sound good to the ears of many, they are sins.

Abraham and Ishmael the Hebrews.

Abraham the Hebrew, prophet of the Most High God, friend of God and father of the Israelites, lived in a time when few people were calling upon the name of the Lord. There was not any nation whose god was the Lord. That Lord is the same Lord Jesus.

God separated Abraham from his friends and relatives, except Lot, so He could establish a nation who would serve the God of Abraham. That nation is still reserved for God. However, those of that nation (Israel) who do not serve God as Abraham did, will be cut off from the nation.

There are actually two Israels. There is the natural-born descendants of Abraham and there is the Spirit-born descendants of Abraham. Engrafted into the Spirit-born descendants are the Gentiles from many nations, who are born of the same Spirit. Those Gentiles are true Israelites. They are equal to the Hebrews who are born of the Spirit of Abraham's God. Abraham himself was born of the same Spirit. The descendants of Abraham who remain natural born cannot inherit the spiritual kingdom of God.

There were other descendants of Abraham. Ishmael the Hebrew was a direct descendant of Abraham the Hebrew. Although his mother was of Egyptian descent, Ishmael had all right to be referred to as a Hebrew. This part of his identity cannot be erased by anyone. Ishmael himself could not change that part of his identity. It is only fair to Ishmael and all his descendants that this truth remain established.

Unto Ishmael the Hebrew, twelve princes were given to form the nation of the Ishmaelites. They were his direct descendants. The Hebrew, Ishmael, fathered twelve Hebrews not twelve Arabs. Also the scriptures clearly show that God blessed them to be ONE nation. The identity of being Hebrew cannot be taken away by wishful thinking. It was established by birth. The new name of the new nation ie. Ishmaelites cannot change the birth identity and the lineage of the Ishmaelites.

It is an honour for people to want to be associated with the great prophet Abraham, but that honour becomes dishonour when the claims of descent and associations are false. Ishmael, though not a prophet of the Most High God, would have understood a lot about honour. He could not raise up twelve princes without understanding honour. Ishmael would not, as a man of honour, despise his Hebrew identity and preferred an Arab identity. The Hebrew, Ishmael, honoured his Hebrew father, Abraham and identified with him at his burial. Isaac the Hebrew, and Ishmael the Hebrew, buried their father Abraham the Hebrew.

Many of these things are in the Bible (mainly in Genesis). They are not explained in the Holy Bible like this, but these things can be understood by fair minded people. I hope you are fair and honourable to leave Abraham with the blessing of the the identity of his son Ishmael the Hebrew where it rightfully belongs.

Since Ishmael was not born of the Spirit of the Most High God, he has no part in the spiritual kingdom of God. He could not be a prophet of Abraham's God for this same reason. The true prophets were born of the Spirit of Abraham's God. They prophesied as they were inspired by the Holy Spirit. Prophets who were not and are not born of the Spirit of the living God cannot prophesy for that God. Their prophecies are from elsewhere. Their prophecies are against the Most High God. Their prophecies are actually sins. Those who follow them are in sins and will not escape the judgement of the Most High God, unless they repent and serve God, through His Son, Jesus.

Abraham had some children from Keturah. If you look up this in Genesis chapter 25 you will notice that the sons were referred to as the sons of the concubines and children of Keturah. They were not called sons of Abraham as Ishmael and Isaac were called. Does that wording means that they should not be called Hebrews. I think not. They also were Hebrews. The scripture is not used to do away with the identity of the father of the children. The father is clearly identified. The children are spoken of in that fashion because Abraham had children from several wives.

Perfect Love

Can anyone define perfect love in a few words and give a complete picture of what perfect love really is? I don't think so.

Even the Apostle Paul prayed for believers in Jesus to know the love of God which passes understanding. How can anyone know the love of God if it passes understanding? Since Paul prayed for believers it means that they do not start out with a good understanding of God's perfect love. It means that only God can give you a clear understanding of His love. It also means that the love comes by revelation and experiencing God.

The Holy scriptures show that God is love. It is a simple matter to conclude, that to know love (perfect love, agape love, or supernatural love) you must know God.

God and His love cannot be known in greater depths without friendship with God. Sins are against God and therefore against His perfect love. You cannot keep your sins and claim that you have friendship with God.

To serve other gods is against God's perfect love.

Abraham, the grandfather of Jacob (Israel), was a friend of God. Abraham experienced God's perfect love. He could not have offered up Isaac to God unless he had tasted that love. It was that love in his nature that made it possible for him to demonstrate his love for God. It is the nature of those who are born of God. That nature increases, providing the believer follows a path of obedience to God. Abraham obeyed God and came to reasonable maturity in that God kind of love. That love would not allow Abraham to turn from the right ways of God. Although he erred in a major way before, he did not waver when offering up Isaac.

Agape love is a supernatural or divine love. It is a fruit of the Spirit of God. Those who are not born of the Spirit of God cannot pour this love out to others. However, they can be affected by this love in many ways. If this love were in the hearts of everyone, then they would all love Jesus. Those who do not love Jesus do not love the real Abraham. The real Abraham, by his spiritual nature, poured out the agape love which is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. Abraham, having God's divine nature imparted into him, would not go about establishing another faith or religion where the fruit of the Holy Spirit---the fruit of perfect love, would be missing. It is simple. Those who are not blessed with faithful Abraham to have God's nature are not blessed to pour out His agape love.

Oppression of the Just One

Many of us have heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ often. At Christmas time the songs and greetings send out the message about a baby Jesus. The oppressed Jesus may escape our thoughts then because we see a baby Jesus.

Now Easter is here and we will hear about the crucified Jesus and the risen Jesus. All that is well if we really hear with our spirits and welcome the risen Jesus into our lives.

What we should never forget after Easter is gone is that Jesus, the innocent or Just One , suffered oppression at the hands of those who nailed Him to the cross. Not just the ones who struck with the hammer or mallet, but also the rulers who rejected Him.

The oppression of the Just One did not take place without you in mind. Isaiah 53:7 (KJV) used the word oppressed long before it happened. God's offer of salvation is for all. Christ suffered oppression for all. He was oppressed so that you can escape many oppressions.

Will you receive Him or will you take the side of the oppressors? The choice is yours. Today is your day for salvation if you hear Him speaking to you. Don't close your ears. Trust Him and ask Him to forgive you and give you a new spirit.

You can seek out other believers to learn more about serving Jesus.

Flying Kites In Guyana

My mind goes back to my boyhood in Canefield Settlement, East Canje, Berbice. Around this time of the year I delighted myself with kite flying. It was my chief joy (when the kite stayed up)and hummed away.

Easter holiday came with the neighbourhood buzzing with several kites in the air. My friends and I had the challenges that came with kites flying close to each other. We had to control our kites to avoid entanglement with each other's kites. One unfriendly and subtle way to keep your kite in the air was to put razor blades on the tail of the kite. This strategy does not always work. Your kite could get down by other means.

One thing I learned then was the kite up in the air was symbolic of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. That didn't mean much to me then. I was a Muslim then. My chief joy was my kite, even when it couldn't fly. Now I can understand the symbol of kites in the air. Now Jesus is real to me and He is my chief joy.

You know my Guyanese friend, if your chief joy is not Jesus, you are missing out on much more than you know. Your life may be filled with other joys and even kite flying joys, but they are temporary joys. When the threads and chalk lines entanglements of certain troubles hit you the joys will not bail you out. You need the one who is risen to deliver you and give you the lasting joys of His presence.

The troubles that will come with His judgements cannot be escaped through any other.

I hope you will seek Him as your chief joy.

Happy kite flying, with Jesus as your chief joy, to all of you in Guyana who love Jesus.

And happy kite flying to all others in Guyana. Maybe one day, like me, you will leave off kite flying as your chief joy as you rejoice in the risen Jesus.

Building the Church in Guyana

Life, all life, comes from the Father of lights, through His Son Jesus Christ, and by the Holy Spirit.

The holy scriptures contain this truth. Even Satan received life or else he does not exist as a living being. Satan has persuaded millions of people that he does not exist. If Satan does not exist then Jesus is a liar. Jesus came once into this world to destroy the works of the Devil (Satan). He will return soon to bind the Devil with chains for a thousand years. The Devil cannot stop Jesus from building a great Church.

Jeaus is building His great Church with a perfect plan. The Church has several hundreds of its members in Guyana. Many Guyanese Christians have no part in that Church. They are just playing church. They live like the Devil and still want to be known as Christians. It will not work. Jesus is building His Church upon the strongest foundation. That foundation is not the Apostle Peter. That foundation is not Islam. That foundation is not Hinduism. That foundation is not any man-made religions, cults, etc. The foundation of the true Church is Jesus Christ Himself.

Every reasonable person understands the need for the best foundation when building a house. Many nominal Christians in Guyana think they can build on other foundations and still make it to heaven. Heaven is not built for fools who seek another foundation and refuse the foundation that heaven has provided. Muslims must repent from building on foundations that heaven refuses. Hindus must do the same. All sinners must subscribe to the demands of a Holy and Just Creator who seeks their good through faith in His foundation. No other foundation will suffice.

Guyanese need to hear the truth. Only the truth has power to direct to the righteous foundation. All the foundations built by evil, by refusing the holy and clean Son of God, will be broken. They cannot stand. The houses (religions, etc.) will fall. They that trust in them will fall. They will fall and the cornerstone of the great foundation (even Jesus Christ) will fall upon them.

Every man, woman, and child have to take heed how they build. Jesus Christ exposes the lies of the Devil. Jesus promised to bulid His Church and the gates of Hell (yes there is a Hell and so there is a Devil) shall not prevail against it. The Devil cannot stop the building of that part of God's Church in Guyana.

God loves you. Whether you are a Hindu, a Muslim, or a plain sinner, He loves you. He will not keep back truth which you need to know for your salvation. This massage comes to you with His love.

May the God of great glory open your minds and hearts to receive His foundation and refuse all other founadations.

Oppressions by Words in Guyana

This type of oppression is not only at home in Guyana but in other places as well. It is the use of words to instill fears in people's hearts. This is a devilish activity and not profitable for those who engage in it and for those who have to endure it. There is a profitable fear of God which can be used to turn people to serve God. That fear also uses words to affect people but for their own good.

The perpetrators of oppressive fears do not fear God. The fear of God is not in their hearts. They do not fear rulers also. They are their own gods.

God has spoken to His church about overcoming the evil fear of man. The church in Guyana needs to stand up and give voice against those who seek to terrorize the people. The church of the living God in Guyana should not encourage such conduct in their inheritance. God has given the church in Guyana a stewardship. That stewardship involves the care of the country in whatever form that is profitable for all the citizens and even for strangers that dwell among them. The Guyanese pastors and other church leaders has a responsibility to teach the believers to have a love and a care for the place that God has committed to them. To despise the place and stand on the side of the destroyers is to despise God.

God has placed His people in Guyana for a purpose. The purpose of God is to live in holy temples made without hands. God wants His temple to prosper in many ways. The temples of God in Guyana cannot enjoy the best that God has planned for them if they allow words of terror to reign over the people of God and the other citizens of the land. The church has a God-given right to overcome any form of evil when directed by the Spirit of the Lord to do so. Overcoming evil with good is pleasing to Jesus. The church of Jesus must not remain silent and take an uncaring attitude through fear of the wicked.

The church has been given the authority to reprove and rebuke evil in any place where the Holy Spirit leads to do so. The church is not to fear to rebuke those in places of power or authority. The church of Jesus Christ is the greatest government and must give account about the way they ruled as led by the Holy Spirit. This rule is to be carried out with the mighty weapons at the church's disposal. The weapons are to bring into subjection everything that seeks to exalt itself against the knowledge of God. The knowledge of God's good gifts of a homeland to dwell in and serve your God in peace should go along with the knowledge of God of the stewardship He has committed to His people in Guyana.

The bondage fears must be resisted through Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ cares for the people of Guyana and desires that they should be saved. The church must actively seek out others who are trying to build the country that God has committed to the citizens of Guyana and work along with them to preserve their blessings. The church should dispense words of faith and courage and openly speak against those who are seeking to destroy their blessings. Remember that the Devil would like to spoil your blessings and keep you in bondage. You must resist those who are giving place to the Devil and oppressing you. Jesus hates oppressions. His church must, by nature, hate oppressions.

Opressors' Payday

Oppressions are all around us. You don't have
to go very far to find some forms of oppressions.

The man who gets drunk or high on drugs is
undergoing oppressions. His God-given glory
is being stolen from him. He is in such a state
of mind that he enjoys his oppressions. Yes, he
will even fight and oppress others to keep his
oppressions. He even calls it a good life.

People who rule practices oppressions in many
ways and they also call it a good life. They will
do anything evil if it is necessary to hold on to
rule or stay in office.

People practice oppressions against rulers when
they make unreasonable demands of them. They
want what they want, when they want, even
when it is impossible for their leaders to make
the thing happen.

One of the major oppressions going on is not in
most people homes or country. It is the
oppression of Israel or Jacob. You may not see
their oppressions but God sees it. Yes, He even
saw it long ago, before it happened. He spoke
about it in the Holy Bible. The record is there
if you will search it out.

Let me say to you who takes the side of the
opressors, not only against Israel are you
taking it, but against the God of Israel. He
has shown in His word that there is a payday
for you. You will get paid , as surely as the
Lord lives who formed you and Jacob. You
will not escape His wrath. His fury will be
poured out until He is satisfied.

As for the children of Jacob, the wicked ones
will be cut off. The God of Israel will not
allow His word to fail. There is a remnant
of Israel (Jacob) who will not be cut off. They
will fight for Israel, and their God will not
disappoint them. The opressors of Israel has
their payday coming and it is from Jesus,
the God of Israel. Jesus hates oppressions.

There is an iniquity (sin) at work since the
days of Paul the Apostle. That iniquity is
the hatred of God's holy covenant and the
people of Israel. Those who desire the total
destruction of Israel are like the drunk and
those high on drugs who opresses others to
continue their "good life". Their minds have
been made blind so that they cannot see
that payday is coming soon.

God has not cast off Jacob. Jacob is my
brother so I can speak about him. Jesus
is Jacob's brother and He is my brother,
therefore I can speak these things. When
you touch Jacob you are touching Jesus.
Jesus will recompense. Don't strike the
remnant of Jacob who will serve Jesus.
They are reserved for Him by His word.
His word cannot come to nought, so do
not oppose Him.

Reclaiming my Guyanese Home

This blog is about my own home and the home of
my fellow Guyanese who left their home and would
like to go back to it.

Many Guyanese have come to the place where leaving
their homeland is a necessity. Na, ah tink me wrang.
For many Guyanese it is a matter of survival.

The poor Guyanese who are constantly oppressed
by poverty are glad to head off for another home
in USA, Canada, England, etc. Can anyone blame
the poor Guyanese?

Me na gat no quarrel with any poor Guyanese
wanting to betta demself. Me na like doh when
dem Guyanese who lef Guyana a baad talk deh
homeland. A don't mean sayin de truth about bad
things going on in Guyana. A mean dem fellas
despise de country so much dat deh forget all de
free education and free or low cost medical, not
to mention free wata, etc, dat deh get from de
country.

Those Guyanese would find it difficult to go back
to reclaim their home. Notice, I said home not
houses and lands. The country is home.

Le me tell yo something else. Me tink dem chap
a still hang on to de Guyana passport while deh
still bad mouthin de place.

Now, you that love your homeland, don't just talk
about going back one day to reclaim it. That day
may remain only in your dreams. A more manage-
able thing to do is visit as often as you can. You
can do it if you really want to. In your plans to
reclaim your Guyanese Home, keep this thought
in mind and you will not regret your move. Go
with the thought of doing some good for your
homeland. Even if you go to spend some extra
money in the land you will be contributing to
its prosperity. If many Guyanese reclaim their
home only partially because they are not able
to do otherwise, the land will increase with
blessings. Many more poor Guyanese may be
encouraged to remain in Guyana because they
will have more hope of a better day at home.

This is only one small idea, but a feasible one.

Agreeing with a God-ordained Preacher

Today I would like to do something that is
a foremost desire of our Heavenly Father.
I would like to thank Him for all those who
are praying for the salvation of souls. I thank
Him for all the souls that are still not saved.
Father desires that we give thanks to Him.

To see the mind of God from the scriptures,
look at 1Timothy 2:1-10 (KJV). The Apostle
Paul explains the mind of God concerning
some things that believers should do. They
are not very difficult things to do. Every
believer should agree with a God-ordained
Preacher who directs them to follow this
teaching. The teaching directs all believers
to pray, pray and pray. Prayers should not
be made without giving thanks.

It is very important to pray for people who
rule. The type of prayers are not for every
need and wants of rulers, but for them to
maintain peace and safety for their people.
The prayers main objective is the salvation
of souls, whether they are rulers or servants.

The prayers' focus requires that leaders
make available the knowledge of the truth
that leads to salvation of their subjects, if the
knowledge is not present. For people to be
saved they must have the truth. Leaders
who does not look into this foremost need
of their subjects can be turned to do so by
prayers made by believers.

The truth that only one mediator is given
for the salvation of every soul must become
real to rulers. Your prayers are vital to turn
rulers who are not agreeing with the true
God and His ordained preachers. Your
prayers can make hard hearts melt and
open the doors that are still closed to the
Glorious Gospel of Christ and His Kingdom.

Men and women of God are to pray lifting
up holy hands. The prayers should be
without wrath and without doubts. The
women are specifically challenged to put
prayers of these types on their priority
list. The scriptures are not saying that
women of faith should never make use
of costly things such as gold. The
preacher must be taken in context on
the matter of first type prayers. The
prayers can be put off if women are
putting the gold, pearls, and clothing
as their priority. Women are to make
their first (priority) clothing of the good
works of prayers and giving of thanks etc.

Working Miracles is my Duty

The God of Israel does not sleep or slumber.
The God of Israel does not shut up His compassion
for a season. He shows mercy everyday and His
mercies include doing the miraculous. The fool
sings a hymn about how God's mercies are new
every morning, yet he will not believe for the
mercies that can come only by the working
of miracles. Woe unto the fool.

The hypocrites does not like a miracle working God
for today. They are quite happy to let Satan go about
with his destructive power and keep people in sickness
and bondages.

My Bible says submit to God. It also say to resist the
Devil and he will flee from you. It means now, today,
and until the Devil is bound with chains just before
the return of Jesus to reign.The hypocrite loves
it the other way around. He flees when it is time to
cast out devils and to heal the sick through the miracle
working might of Jesus Christ.

He leaves the sick of the flock to die because he is
believing a lie. He believes that miracles are not for
today. He believes that God went to sleep after the
first apostles and others finished their miracle works.
Woe unto the hypocrites.

Take a look at Luke chapter 17, you who fear the
Lord. Jesus told the disciples that they can work
miracles through faith in God. Jesus told about
the place of a servant. The servant is duty bound
to serve his master first. The servant cannot go
about to remove any mountain or tree until he
has served the master first. Hear you opposers,
you don't want to put Jesus first in your life but
you want miracles from Him. The servant will
fail in his duty of working miracles if he does not
serve his master, Jesus, first. The way Jesus puts
it to the disciples in another place is that they did
not serve God in prayers and fasting first. Also,
He pointed out their unbelief.

In the seventeenth chapter of Luke, Jesus makes
it plain that the servant is duty bound to do all
that was commanded him. The other reason why
even believers fail to work miracles today is
they want miracles at their good pleasure, in their
timing. The servant must wait for God's command
before he can do certain duties. That is why not
everyone will be healed by miracles through
Jesus. Jesus is still in command. The servants
of Jesus have to refrain from being self-willed.
At the same time, Jesus requires that the sevant,
who is commanded (annointed or empowered) to
work miracles, must believe for miracles for all to
whom he is sent.

The commands from the Lord does not have to
be in an audible voice. The Holy Spirit falls upon
the chosen servant and inspires him or her to
minister the miracles. The servant can also hear
the voice of the Lord in his spirit and/or mind.
God also moves his servant by way of the soul
(not leaving out faith) to have special feelings of
compassion for the oppressed. The willing
surrendered servant can move safely, as his
Lord did, to minister deliverance until all needs
are met. Jesus' example of compassion did not
fade away from the holy scriptures.

The hypocrite would like the church to be without
the Jesus- kind of compassions that require
demonstrations of great power, and gives great
glory to Jesus and the Father. The abundance
of the good fruit of faith and love in His believing
and faithful servants is testimony to the wicked
that Jesus still works miracles today. He gives
great faith today. He gives great compassion
today. He gives great love today. He demonstrates
great might today. Eat your hearts out you
doubters.

The apostles in the first century left us examples
to follow. Not every believer can work miracles.
Every believer should be duty bound to refrain
from resisting those believers whom the Holy
Spirit falls upon to work miracles. They should
be duty bound unto their master to pray for the
servants who are chosen to perform the miracles.
They should be believing, and expect God to do
works of miracles for them in their hour of need.

Good Teacher or God?

People saw Jesus, heard about Him, or
read about Him, and they had their own
idea who He was. The rich man in the
reference scriptures was sure that
Jesus was a Good Teacher.

Jesus told the man that only God is
good.

Some people think Jesus was telling
the man that He (Jesus) was not God.

That is not what Jesus was saying.
The man's point of view of Jesus
was that He was only a Good Teacher,
or a good man. The truth that Jesus
was God in human form and more than
a Good Teacher escaped the man.

If Jesus meant that no one was good,
from every point of view, He would be
found to contradict the scriptures.
Search the scriptures an you will
find it talks about good people. One
example starts like this:A good man,
out of the good treasures... Jesus
had a point of view that did not
contradicted the scriptures. That
point of view was that all people
are not good, relative to God. Jesus
Himself being God in human form and
sinless, was actually saying that
He alone is good.

Jesus stands apart from all people.
He is exalted above all people. Jesus
is not comparable to anyone, no
matter how good they are, because their
goodness is only good relative to
others.

The Fear of Making Mistakes

This fear has caused many people to lose
their God-given talents and abilities. They
were afraid of failure and its consequences.

This fear is experienced by most people
at one time or another. Even though this
fear can be overcomed in most situations,
many people are not willing to endure and
do what it takes to obtain freedom from
this form of oppression.

The Holy Bible has several examples of
people overcoming failures, not necessarily
the fear of failure, and you can learn form
those examples how to overcome certain
types of failures.

You can read about the life of Abraham
Lincoln and learn about his approach in
dealing with failures. Another example
is Charles Goodyear, the inventor of
vulcanized rubber.

A simple strategy for overcoming the fear
of failure is to get in the company of people
who are willing to help you deal with the
particular fears that are robbing you.

Yet another simple thing to do is to look
back at your successes and learn from
them.

If you need God to help you overcome your
fear of failure you may pray this prayer and
wait for His help.

O God of heaven, you who know all things
and see all things, you know how I am
oppressed with the fear of failure. I would
like to be free from these fears, so please
deliver me. I will wait for your help. I
believe you care and will help me to walk
free and serve you in faith. Thank you.

Facing a Common Enemy

The enemy that binds and opresses many is fear
of death. The fear of death, like many other fears,
has torment.

The torment causes the fearful to lose sleep and
a normal lifestyle.

Many fears can be easily overcomed because they
are not great or terrible fears.

Many do not fear death and does not need any help
to overcome other fears which are associated with
the fear of death.

It is well known that many have been strengthened
when they recited the twenty third Psalm during
times of great danger. The word of God is indeed
a source of strength. Through faith in Jesus you
can overcome many fears, especially the fear of
death.

May God bless you and cause you to receive His
words in your heart (spirit).
